When will NCEE 2021 result will be out? The National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for 2021 was conducted earlier this year into various Federal Unity Colleges in Nigeria has been released.

How to Check NCEE Result 2021

In order to check your federal ncee result, you don’t need to buy a token for you to have access to the result. Below are steps of how to use the National Common Entrance Examination result checker:

  1. Visit the Unity schools admission portal at https://ncee.neco.gov.ng/
  2. Log in to your account with E-mail/Phone number and password
  3. Click on result on the menu on the left-hand side bar
  4. View your NCEE result

Candidates are hereby advised to check their admission list or admission status online via the Federal Minsitry of Education (FME) portal fmeposting.com.ng.

After you have checked the result, you will see any of the following comments:

  1. Qualified for Selection under National Merit
  2. Qualified for selection under state quota
  3. Not qualified for selection

NCEE Result cut off marks 2021

This ncee 2021 result cut off marks will help you to know if your son or daughter is qualified for admission in any choice of institution or school he or she selected.

According to the minister for education, the admission criteria set by FG for unity schools is as follows:

  1. National merit or the cut off mark would take 60% (146 for merit), equality of state 30%, and other factors 10%
  2. Candidates who apply for schools outside their state of origin would be given priority

It is also worthy to let you know that each Federal Government Secondary Schools are more competitive than the other. King’s College, Queen’s College, FGCS Benin, FGCS Akure, etc. are among the best federal secondary schools in Nigeria and are highly competitive. This is so because of the performance of the students in WASSCE and national competitions. Also the volume of applicants seeking JSS 1 admission into the schools is high.

So apart from the unity schools cut off mark, the admission will favour those in the top percentile. Meaning that candidates that score more than the minimum required mark in the national common entrance examination (NCEE) will be given preference over those that manage to meet the cut off point.

    My son scored above 150 at the exam but was denied admission at FGC ENUGU and the cut off mark was 134.

    My son scored 155 and he choose FGC ijanikin Lagos
    But his admission status is showing NOT ADMITTED
    Please what can I do? or is it that he will not be given admission? Because I don’t understand what they mean by not admitted
