How to Check JSCE (Junior WAEC) BECE Result 2020. This article is written to guide students on how to check Junior WAEC (JSCE) result. It is an attempt to put students through when the BECE result is out.

BECE Result 2020

Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is conducted for candidates in their third year of the Junior Secondary School. And NECO is the body that conducts the BECE for Federal Unity Colleges, Armed Forces Secondary Schools and other Federal establishments operating Secondary schools.

Private Secondary schools also take part in the NECO BECE provided they are permitted by their State Ministries of Education.

In order to check your 2020 (JSS3)/BECE Junior WAEC result, you will have to buy a token for you to have access to the result. Click the red link to find out the steps to purchase the token.

Tokens can be obtained in two ways:

  1. By creating an account, login-in and purchasing the token online using the payment options
  2. By purchasing the token and sharing with another candidate via email or printing it out.

A token can only be associated to one candidate’s unique exam number.

Each token cannot be used more than 5 times to view a candidate’s result.

N.B: One token can be used a maximum of 5 times. After this limit, you will need to purchase a new token to view results again.

How to Check BECE Junior WAEC (JSCE 3) Result 2020

1. Login to the New result checking porta on https://result.neco.gov.ng/. This link is old and no longer in use http://www.mynecoexams.com/results/default.aspx

2. Select BECE i.e JSCE in the Examination type box

3. Select the Exam year i.e 2020

4. Enter your PIN number from the scratch card you purchased

5. Enter your Exam number

6. Click on “Check my Result”

Then your JSCE result will come up.

Grading System For BECE

Note the grading system of Junior WAEC (JSCE) result is as follow:

A – Distinction

B – Upper Credit

C – Lower Credit

P – Pass

F – Fail

How to Check State BECE JSCE Result 2020

Each state of the federation and the FCT conducts the BECE for its candidates and to check your result you will need to visit the state’s result portal. Some states like Imo state have a result checking portal for BECE result while many states like,

1) Lagos State BECE Junior WAEC Result

All Government Public Junior Secondary Schools should please proceed to collect their schools’ results from their district headquarters.

WHILE

Registered approved Private Junior Secondary Schools should collect their schools results from respective Liaison officers.

NB: Principals of Approved Private Junior Secondary Schools that registered for the examination should visit the Board Head Office at 254, Ipaja Road, Agege, for the collection of their pupils’ results which were ready from Friday, 13th November, 2020.

2) Delta State BECE Junior WAEC Result

All pupils and students who sat for the 2020 Delta State BECE examinations are hereby informed to follow the outlined guidelines to access their results online using the specific scratch cards for the examination.

  1. Kindly log on to Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (DELTAMOBSE) portal via https://deltamobse.net/uportal/index.php.
  2. Click on the Check Secondary Result Status (USING EXAM. NO.)
  3. Enter Pin Code and Examination Number in the boxes provided
  4. Click on the Submit Button to access your ward’s result

NB:

  1. Candidates who have resit in BECE are expected to start registration for the resit examination immediately.

3) Bauchi State BECE Junior WAEC Result

The Bauchi State Ministry of Education has released the results of the 2019/2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) which was held on Monday 9th November to 17th November, 2020.

All pupils and students who sat for the 2020 Bauchi State BECE examinations are hereby informed to follow the outlined guidelines to access their results online using the specific scratch cards for the examination.

  1. Kindly log on to Bauchi State Ministry of Education portal via http://bece.moebauchi.bu.gov.ng/.
  2. Click on the Login to your Account button.
  3. Enter Pin Code in the box provided
  4. Click on the Sign in Button to access your ward’s result

4) Nassarawa State BECE Junior WAEC Result

BECE Result Lafia 2020. This is to announce to the general public that the BECE result Lafia 2020/2021 session is out. Candidates who took part in Lafia BECE 2020 examination should take note of the following.

The BECE is the first certificate of the Basic Education Programme and is conducted for the final year students of the Upper Basic (Junior Secondary School). It is mandatory for students in JSS 3 to be registered to write the examination.

How to Check BECE Result Lafia 2020

Nassarawa State BECE WAEC Result

  1. Go to the official website via http://erc.nasmoe.net.ng/bece/
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. Click Login
  4. On the top right corner, click BECE Result Examination.
  5. Your result will be download and available in PDF.

5) Rivers State BECE Junior WAEC Result

The Rivers State Ministry of Education hereby informs Parents, Guardians, Teachers and Pupils that the result of the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been released.

HENCEFORTH, Candidates seeking to register for SSCE must present original copy of their BECE certificate as a prerequisite for registration.

Candidates who have registered for the 2021 SSCE must present their BECE certificate before the completion of their registration.

Candidates seeking to benefit from the state government’s bankrolled UTME registration must also present the original copy of their BECE certificates.

Public and Private Schools by this announcement must ensure students seeking to be admitted into SS1 to SS3 present original copy of their BECE certificates at the point of registration.

The Ministry solicits the cooperation of all heads of schools to drive this course. Schools can apply for the BECE certificates at rivemis.riversstate.gov.ng.

How to Check BECE Result Rivers State 2020

To access your result Candidates are by this notice are directed to visit their various schools to obtain hardcopies of their result.

Heads of Public Schools and administrators of Private schools are enjoined to visit the Ministry of Education to obtain results of their candidates

The Ministry however warns that it shall not condone extortion of Students under the guise of issuing BECE results.

Ekiti State,

FCT Abuja,

Kebbi State,

Kebbi State,

Kogi State,

Kwara State,

Nassarawa State,

Niger State,

Ogun State,

Ondo State,

Osun State,

Oyo State,

Plateau State,

Sokoto State,

Taraba State,

Yobe State,

Zamfara State, etc. don’t have.

In order to check your Junior WAEC result for states that have online portal, you will have to get a PIN and visit the portal to check your JSS3 result.

For example, for candidates from Plateau state:

1. visit plabece.com.ng,

2. click on “open result checker”

3. Input your scratch card number, candidate full exam number, date of birth

4. click on preview and your result will show

And for states that doesn’t have online portal, the result will be sent from the ministry of education to all principals of the various public secondary schools in the state. So you should contact your school on your results.
